THE BEGINNING

Whiplash began as a passion project between members of several different bands. After a few shows, it quickly manifested into a full tilt stage production as the members pushed the envelope further and further. They're goal was to provide the fans a glimpse into that "old school club days" of the early Metallica, while giving them  stage show that went beyond just playing the songs. Whiplash quickly became a local phenomenon, and has become a favorite amongst hardcore Metallica fans and those new to the older catalog.

To tribute an iconic band such as Metallica, you had better bring your A game. Whiplash has scoured through hundred of hours of recordings, live shows, demos, and fan footage to bring you as close of a representation as possible.

We strive to capture that early-club Metallica feel, while giving the audience more than just songs. Our stage show performance mimics the sights and sounds of an arena-era show of the early 80's
